VINCE CALLED. hooray! it's funny how the first word i heard out of his mouth just relaxed me after 8 days of torture.
so i know the first time you sign up for cross_fest you have to write 5 prompts and wait to see which one you get. after that for second/later prompts do you still have to request five, or can you just write what you want? do you still have to claim for latter prompts? anyone finish their first fic yet? maybe i'll claim five then write all five so i don't have to worry about which one i get.
i'm like 95% sure i'm gonna go cosplay. ugh, i'm going to get so mocked by my dad and my friends if they find out. but i'm hoping to find home grown slashers, and maybe even someone to go watch hbp through buttfucking coloured glasses. at terminus i didn't even dress up, aside from the tie to show house solidarity. this will be a first. at least the bus stop is only about 5 feet outside the library if they're all really lame.
i found my remus/sirius canon. better then shoebox imho. and secretsolitare, if you haven't already read it i would recc it because even if it's marauder era it's pretty damn angsty. the only problem is it's a wip, but then it was updated a week ago so i know the author's still working on it. of course that doesn't stop them from pulling a draykonis, but hopefully not. i've bookmarked and i'll check at the end of august to see if there's a few more chapters.
