coconut: I'd die id Mad Martha did, just because I know she's usually working on something small, but I miss getting lots of stuff from her to read thats new

gala: I ALREADY KNOW WHAT MY FIC IS. i've been trying to write it since christmas, i first attempted for best_mates_xmas but then i realised it was probably going to be at least 25k and i didn't have the time for that

gala: but looking at the plot again, it's probably closer to 50. *flails*

coconut: AHHHH! HOW AWESOME!

coconut: you write it, I'll beta it for you

gala: um... but you have to write something too. it doesn't have to be 50k, but you have to write artist!ron, or SOMETHING

coconut: I really would love to do artist!Ron, especially since I have a vague notion on how I'm going to end it, if I know how it shall end and how it shall start then stuff is like 90% more likely to get written

gala: if you don't have time to write and beta i understand and i pick write

coconut: lmao, we have until march next year

coconut: I'm pretty sure there's enough time for all of the above and more

gala: see, where as mine is more like ron is closeted at the end of ootp. then he kisses harry and things go badly. and then ron is sort of crazy from the brain scars. and then there is some sort of happy ending.

gala: it sort of just trails off after they snog, at this point

coconut: where as mine is Arist!Ron, peudointellect!Harry and weird surprise twist ending that makes everything hopefully lovely

gala: >.< I'M SO HAPPY NOW. PISS ON MY PARENTS. BLAH. ohhhh, there's going to be so many harry/ron epics come april

The only problem is that the epic H/R plot bunny that's been sitting out in my head forever got claimed in ownficfest. But but but! It could easily have been big bang length! Maybe I'll just write the shorter, slightly cracky spinoff version for ownfic and save the ~serious~ one for this... *plots evil plots*

that works. or you could come up with a different plot and write TWO long h/r. not that i'm a ron whore, or anything *shifty look*

i don't know if this comment means you're excited or not... as i don't know "how you..." i know you like non-con/dub con, but you can write something dark, if you aren't clapping sarcastically. *shrugs* regardless of if you like my otp have a great day!

Well... it means I'm happy that H/R has a fest, but I'm kinda sad because I no longer sail on that ship. I miss it sometimes.

I mean, I used to ship it, but I had a problem with how the ship seemed to be oriented/steered/ commanded by just shocolate. I mean, she's a nice girl with good fanfiction and I know she definitely didn't intend for that to happen. I've spoken to her before and like her, but when every single fic I read or fan picture is dedicated to her (again, not her fault, other people's fault)... I mean, you'd think she invented the ship. I like communal ships. Even Big Name Fans like Cassie Claire, Glock, and Ponderosa have themselves spread over areas of the fandom, so a guy doesn't notice as much.

It just kinda feels like her ship now. Anyway, I rant. It isn't her fault. And you mentioned her because she did come up with the idea. Even so, I kinda left H/R (at least on Livejournal) for that reason.

So um... I will most certainly read your fic! Oh, and I don't really love no-con. I like domestic fluff ^.^

i gotta admit, the first person i oriented towards when i started that pairing was her. but now there's so much more i read, i probably haven't read her in over a year. HOLY CRAP I JUST REALISED SECRET SOLITARE WILL PROBABLY WRITE. (sorry, like i said other authors are now my shiny special snowflakes)

i haven't been on harryandron because a) new gen has distracted me and b) right now most things up are drabbles and drabbles make me sad/ranty depending on how i'm feeling. so to see that there's going to be a big bang seems to remedy that.

huzzah! you should also read coconut ice's fic, we were talking and i like the sound of it. oh, and we're also going to co write something too. damn, those two words really made my oldschool fandom love jump right out again. how about i read all of them and then i tell you which ones are worthy of reading? *smiles*

um, i don't really have much of that in my planned fic. i think the last time i wrote domestic fic was justin baking cookies for remus while he was stoned. lmao. but maybe i'll write a random fic for you with that?

Oh, Gala- I'll read anything you write, even if it's non-con Umbridge/Snitch/James Moon. I was just saying that because I thought you were asking if I prefered non-con.

But I'll have to first try those authors you just suggested.

If you ever want to read a good domestic fic, Megans_writing does a lot of those. Oh, they are so cute! And she does just about every pairing, even rare ones. Sirius/Hermione? Awww.

don't take this the wrong way, but i sort of associate you with dubcon (seeing as my first love of fizz was because of the sub!ron art). but enjoy any sort of fic you want, i probably read every type at one time or another. except cowboy au's.

secret solitare writes really awesome long harry/rons, and this prostitution-but-not seamus/ron, not to mention probably the only gen i enjoy reading (it's technically hermione/ron, but the two i'm thinking of [scorigifed mind and within these walls] they don't even see each other until the last two or three chapters). the only problem is she locks all her slash, so you have to friend her (some crap about slash being more inherintly naughty then het, it's total bullshit but i don't call her on it because i don't want to start wank and be kicked out of her flist so i can't read it)

kerryblaze is good, she's on the flist, she mostly writes torchwood now but i know she feels the love because she's got a ron tattoo.

mad martha is freaking awesome. she writes au's, like one where james and lily are alive and the five of them plus harry live on a commune and harry's a huff and ron's a slytherin but there is still love. or the one she's 'famous' for (what i consider the shoebox project of hr) is two households, in which harry is slytherin and ron is still gryff and so much is different just because he's slytherin and people don't trust slytherins.

i met coconutice at terminus, and she doesn't write often, she's usually my beta. but we talk every day, and yesterday she wrote a 16k harry/ron/hermione and a few hours later she found the bb post and we decided to write.

in summation, i talk way too freaking much, but i'm glad you haven't completely lost interest in h/r, and don't tempt me to write umbridge/james/snitch because i can already think of a way to make it work.

from the time that i wrote that to the time that i'm writing this comment MY EXICTMENT HAS NOT ABATED. IN FACT, IF POSSIBLE I AM MORE SQUEEY ABOUT IT aside from our individual fics me and coconut are doing collab. it's been over a year since i've collabed with someone, i am so freaking happy!
