new self challenge: write a drabble every day. how long do i predict this lasting? like a week. still, i try.
Only for someone that he really, truly loved, would Trey stay up this long. It's past the point of second, fifth, and tenth winds. At this point, he's perma-woken. It's quite a bit like being perma-stoned, groggy and confused and slow to react. The major difference is, nothing has been consumed, and there's no way to become sober. Short of actually allowing himself to sleep, and he can't see that happening any time soon.
As far as he knows, Matt isn't on anything either. Matt just can't fall asleep, and thus, Trey won't let himself fall asleep. If it's up to him, Matt will never be alone.
