i am SO IRRITATED I COULD SCREAM about some of the things happening in RL. but just as i escape whatever's going on with fandom and juicy 100k epic fics, plays seem to work into this schedule too.

i don't have time to think about CRAP when i wake up, have breakfast/practice hygeine practices, bus downtown, see a play, wait an hour, see a play, wait an hour and repeat until it's 11pm when i get home and then i still need to have dinner before going to bed.

it's two am, and normally i'd be up until 4, but i have to get up at 10 to have breakfast before my first play. i haven't been up before noon in two months. dear lord.

as always, it's 4am and the sunday morning buses don't start until 6.30. the difference this time is the wonder that's known as google documents. OMG THIS IS THE BEST INVENTION IN THE HISTORY OF EVER. but while i work on that, i'm just going to pour on the random thoughts. i will cut if they get too long.

they got too long. lmao.

1) this song "i'll keep your memory vague" by finger eleven... is this a remake? or is there a sooper skerit chinese cd version? because this is all slow and acoustic, and i was almost positive there was an upbeat (well not upbeat the song is depressing but faster tempo more rocky) version of it.

2) poker is FUN. except when it was my turn to shuffle because shuffling hurts my wrist. i was winning until the last game where i folded and vince folded and then it was just jason and ross and ross bet 1300 dollars. on a fucking bluff too. damn.

3) seriously, have i mentioned how much i love google documents?

4) vince and jason took my quitting smoking very well.it was a plesent surprise!

5) watching Jim Carrey in Yes Man makes me want to do random shit.
5b) the harry potter movie theme party? i actually made a bunch of comments like 'why is every person a gryffindor, real fans aren't like that', and 'no real fan would wear the stupid purple and yellow fake gryffindor fleece scarves instead of a knitted one' that had jason look at me very oddly. lmao, such a fangirl.

7) i am feeling so much love for my collab fic that i could fucking marry it.

8) i think i'm quitting my as of yet not gotten job next june. i want the summer to travel. a lot. if you have a home, i might visit it. themeparkcon is most important on my list, (i will drain my savings if needed) but i'd love to see vere and myra and nuclearsugars, and really anyone that has a spare bedroom or a soft couch.

9) i seriously need to finish that fucking harry/ron i've been working on for over a week. every night i say tonight's the night i'll finish it. but seriously, i better be done sunday because come wednesday (i think) everyone's at azkatraz and i am too much of a comment whore to post it when people aren't around to comment.

10) i also need to write hugo/scorpius/albus, harry/hermione/ron, fred/george/lee, remus/sirius/ron, ginny/hermione, seamus/neville, and more harry/ron because i haven't given them enough love as of late. oh shit, and this weeks ass_carnival, thank god i remembered.

11) i think i need to buy a cellphone for the sole purpose of going to cons. i want to contact people, and it's not like i need it for rl, i have three friends, and eventually a job. if i am not at home, or at work, i am at jason or vince's, there's no need for a phone for them. but i need a phone for cons. *is such a goddamn nerd*

12) i'll get home at 7.54, that's not too early to make french toast, is it?

13) heh, i think vince and ross and jason are going to gamble on horses later today. if asked i'll probably go, but i certainly don't have any money to spend on such a venture.

14) vince brought over ddr for wii. the songs are shit but i rather like dancing. don't tell them though. vince has this thing where he takes video games really seriously and wants me to excell, and he thinks i have a bad attitude when i don't care if i lose. it's rather funny.

so me and coconut spent 2 days outlining our fic. it's 4000 words. the OUTLINE. before she went to bed we wrote the first scene, one that's only a single sentence in the outline. it was over a thousand words. this is going to be the most epic fic ever. i'm so freaking happy.

so i sprained the fucking hell out of my wrist this morning and it hurts. a lot.

i can only type with my left hand, it's annoying as hell.

on the other hand i spent 12 hours talking to coconut ice figuring out a plot for bigbang, and i can't remember the last time i had so much fun planning fic.

also i went to pick up my Fringe tickets, my dad bought me 14 plays for my graduation present, and i bought 10 for myself. of the 24, 23 have been planned very specifically as to what time and day i'm see them. i'm so excited for next week!

thirdly, one of my more liked authors (i don't have a FAVOURITE but i like some more then others) has just put out their 8th book in the series in paperback and finally cheap ass me can go buy it.

all in all, pluses outweight negatives. so hooray for today!

brief thoughts on merlin:

giles (um, ooother or something?) is such a bitchface. seriously, he needs to die so arthur can be in power already.

lancelot/arthur is new loved ship, because it reminds me of james/sirius. all ballsy and confident, but then caring about others (disgusting snape doesn't count, as if the bullying didn't go both ways, he wrote sectumsempra for his enemies).

once i've watched all the episodes and i can't be spoiled (i friggin hate spoilers) i'm looking for l/a.

also, not impressed with ctv's choice to show freaking bourne supremacy instead of a second episode like they did last week and the week before. when i opened the tv guide i actually shouted "shenanigans" and my dad was rather confused. i love that word so much. shenanigans and bitchplease and not impressed are all quite common phrases for rl gala.

VINCE CALLED. hooray! it's funny how the first word i heard out of his mouth just relaxed me after 8 days of torture.

so i know the first time you sign up for cross_fest you have to write 5 prompts and wait to see which one you get. after that for second/later prompts do you still have to request five, or can you just write what you want? do you still have to claim for latter prompts? anyone finish their first fic yet? maybe i'll claim five then write all five so i don't have to worry about which one i get.

i'm like 95% sure i'm gonna go cosplay. ugh, i'm going to get so mocked by my dad and my friends if they find out. but i'm hoping to find home grown slashers, and maybe even someone to go watch hbp through buttfucking coloured glasses. at terminus i didn't even dress up, aside from the tie to show house solidarity. this will be a first. at least the bus stop is only about 5 feet outside the library if they're all really lame.

i found my remus/sirius canon. better then shoebox imho. and secretsolitare, if you haven't already read it i would recc it because even if it's marauder era it's pretty damn angsty. the only problem is it's a wip, but then it was updated a week ago so i know the author's still working on it. of course that doesn't stop them from pulling a draykonis, but hopefully not. i've bookmarked and i'll check at the end of august to see if there's a few more chapters.

so neither has responded to the email. i'm trying to tell myself that they just haven't checked their accounts, but one of them has a blackberry and so the phone rings every time there's a new email.

if i knew what i did wrong for them to not talk to me, i'd apologise a million times. but i can't just abstractly apologise, how can they take it seriously?

i keep trying to think of things they might be mad about, but i keep coming up blank. the last few times i was over i drank jason's alcohol, but the next time i come over (if there is a next time) i was going to bring a mickey for him to share so i wasn't a complete leech. i was a bit drunk but don't remember saying anything offencive or stupid, because the others there would have said something and no one seemed mad at the time.

and then part of me is swinging the other way. if i'm making a huge deal about not seeing them for a week, maybe they just don't want to talk to someone so lame and clingy. for which i would also apologise and try to back off.

i just wish i knew.

right, so bursting into tears while talking to kalaya about how much i miss jason and rachel and vince wasn't embarassing at all, except for the part where it totally was. so i hung up. then she called me back, and i cried for a bit longer.

but she did suggest that if i was scared to call i could email them. so here's to hoping they reply.

fandomly speaking, i cannot look at crossfest prompts until i finish like 3 other fics that have actual close deadlines. but there will be fic-o-plenty. (only partially because it distracts me from rl)

so for the last week i've been having this reoccuring nightmare every night.

in it, i call jason or vince or rachel (never mind that i don't even know her cell number) because i want to hang out. they say yeah sure. i bus down to the apartment. i can hear them laughing and talking through the door but they don't open it. i knock, they don't answer. i go downstairs and buzz their apartment, they don't answer.

i haven't seen them since last wednesday. i know it doesn't seem long, but i miss them. thinking about it sort of makes me want to cry. but i'm petrified of calling jason or vince, because some crazy part of my entirely fucked up brain thinks that i somehow might have the magical power of prophetic dreams. what if i call and i set it in motion?

i've wanted to call them for the last three days, so badly i get neaseus thinking about it. but i can't. god, i hope they don't think i'm mad at them. i'm not. i'm just scared. fucking terrified, actually, would be a more accurate term. i need one of them to call me, otherwise i'm setting myself up.

god i miss them. i want to hear about rock on the range, i want to hear about the talk with ross. hell, i want to play and fail at stupid horrible smash brothers. i hope one calls soon. i wish i wasn't so crazy.

argh. i forgot to wash one of my brushes and now it's all disgusting and glue encrusted and rock hard.

my dad insists that i can still use it, while i insist that he needs to (please please please) drive me to michaels tomorrow so i can pick up another one.

this is a battle that will be solved early in the morning, because the brush is "soaking" right now and apparently that's going to make it all better. i'm hoping by the time i wake up and it's still crusty and gross and completely unuseable my dad will see my reason and give me a ride. if i try to bus i'll need to pay fare twice because the transfer won't last long enough to get home.

a quick peice of advice: when you feel moderatly irritated don't listen to music that you know you find upsetting. at least not if you're not the best at controlling yourself.

ie: when something you really enjoyed writing gets zero comments don't start listening to three days grace because it quickly turns from argh to fuck this pairing to fuck fandom to fuck everything i hate my life and want to die. and no, that's not an exaggeration.

i'm going to go watch shitty daytime tv or something, because i'm too pissy to read fanfic right now. fuck fandom.
